Our Staff
All of our staff work to provide a warm, nurturing, Christ-centered, safe and loving environment where children’s faith is nurtured and where self concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged and individuality is respected. Our teachers are highly-qualified and experienced early childhood educators, who lead by example. Each staff member has been CPR/First Aid certified and trained in current health and safety best practices.
Rosie Navarro
Mrs. Navarro is an assistant with Mrs. Albert's classes and the Lunch Buddies program. She enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering, and cooking. Chocolate and Shaken Brown Sugar Oat Milk Lattes are some of her favorite treats.
Laura Hampton
Mrs. Hampton, Pre-K teacher and 3's assistant, is a huge fan of theater and enjoys acting and helping to put on plays. She also loves relaxing and traveling with her husband. Her favorites include the color purple, chocolate, hot-chocolate and knitting (there’s usually a pair of knitting needles in her hands!).
Susan Albert
Mrs. Albert, 3's and Pre-K teacher, is a creative person and always has some type of arts and craft project going (rock painting, card making, sewing, cake decorating, etc.) Other interests include camping, mountain biking, dirt biking, gardening, reading Christian fiction, and spending time with her family.
Julie Bader
Mrs. Bader teaches one of our AM Pre-K classes. She loves gardening, bird watching, and long conversations with her sister. Her favorite arts and crafts projects are making Christmas gifts with lots of glitter! Recently, a new past-time of hers is hers is researching family genealogy. Hot chocolate and yummy teas are some of her favorite special treats!
Melissa Marzolf
Mrs. Marzolf, preschool and family ministries director, loves music, cooking gluten free, painting, playing guitar, volunteering at CtK, and spending time with her husband, two high schoolers, and dog. She usually has a non-dairy latte in her hand and a song stuck in her head.
Nicole Twedt
Mrs. Twedt assists in Mrs. Hampton and Mrs. Bader's Pre-K classes Monday through Wednesday. She also happens to be one of our preschool parents. With experience teaching in an early childhood setting, we are excited to have her join our team this school year!
