The 3's class gently introduces your child to preschool. This class is play-based, which is important as three-year-olds are learning to play with others, to share, and to take turns. So much social-emotional development takes place at this age! Each class session includes the following:

  • Free play time (options may include dolls, kitchen, doll house, puzzles, books, science exploration, engineering activities, pre-math activities, optional art projects, etc.)

  • Clean-Up time, where we all work together to put away our toys

  • A craft that all students complete, based on our monthly themes

  • Recess in our fenced, outdoor playground

  • Circle Time

  • Show-and-Tell (Students share when it is their "special day.")

  • The "Flag Salute"

  • Singing

  • Stories (We read 1-2 stories each day, including Bible stories from a toddlers' Bible.)

  • Snack (store-purchased, provided by the preschool & donors)

  • Prayer (sung at snack time)

  • Opportunities to explore their interests, ask questions and be curious

All students must be potty trained prior to the start of the school year and must turn three by August 31 of that year.

Lunch Buddies (for Pre-K Students)

Note: The Lunch Buddies Program is suspended until further notice to prevent cross-over between groups of students. We will offer it again when the health authorities say it is safe to do so.

This is an opt-in program which allows your student to bring a sack-lunch and either stay late (for AM students) or come early (for PM students). During Lunch Buddies, under the supervision and direction of preschool staff and the director, students will eat lunch and have an opportunity to play and complete an extension activity from the day’s lessons (ie: a game, yoga, extra craft, gardening, etc.). Parents are asked to sign-up in advance and pay for their child the day before attending Lunch Buddies, so we can plan accordingly.
